Air conditioning: the best affordable models to buy in Spain, according to the OCU
During these summer months of intense heat in Spain, air conditioning is one of our best allies to combat it, but if we want to buy one, we may not know which one to choose or how to find the right one.
In response to this need, the Organization of Consumers and Users ( OCU ) offers a range of models from different brands and prices. According to their analysis, these are the three cheapest you can find.
HISENSE CF35MR04CG / CF35MR04CW (PREMIUM COMFORT 12)With 3.20 kW of power , this model also achieves an A++ rating for cooling and an A+ rating for heating. It includes Eco and intensive ventilation modes, but lacks weekly programming, silent outdoor mode, or air purification. The interior noise level is 57 dB , and the exterior noise level is 62 dB . It starts at around €363.
This model has a cooling capacity of approximately 2.80 kW and offers A++ energy efficiency for cooling and A+ for heating. It features ventilation, Eco, and intensive modes, as well as a silent outdoor mode and air purification (additional filters).
The interior noise level is 54 dB , and the exterior noise level is 62 dB, according to the energy label. It supports Wi-Fi control and smart features such as "i-clean" to eliminate bacteria, Eco mode, and "Wind avoid me" mode, according to Bosch documentation. It doesn't have a weekly program. The price is around 424 euros .
This is a 3.5 kW hot-and-cold split air conditioner designed for rooms up to 30 m². It has an A++ energy efficiency rating for cooling and A+ for heating, with efficient consumption (SEER 7.0 / SCOP 4.2). It includes Eco mode, Sleep mode, ventilation mode, air purification mode, i-Clean function, and Wi-Fi option with an additional accessory. The interior noise level is low (from 21 dB ). It costs around €454 .
