BBVA app reported down at the start of the fortnight

Through social media , users reported the 'crash' of the BBVA app , right at the start of the fortnight on Tuesday, July 1.

According to internet users, minor issues have been occurring since last night, Monday, but this morning, several users have reportedly temporarily lost their access.

According to reports, when attempting to perform any operation from the mobile application, a warning appears stating that it is undergoing maintenance, so they cannot use the different functions such as bank transfers .

To date, BBVA has not issued a statement on its official social media channels regarding the app's maintenance or when it will be back up and running for all users.

Although it's not a recurring event, the well-known bank's app has already experienced outages fortnightly in the past.

This event occurred a few years ago, in 2020, when it "fallen" on the dates when thousands of workers were preparing to receive their salaries.

The above happened on Friday the 13th , which did not go unnoticed by users.

Internet users were quick to complain to the aforementioned bank , as the application has repeatedly experienced failures around the two weeks.

This year, right around the time of the so-called "fortnightly payment," the app is currently undergoing maintenance, according to internet users, which has delayed their ability to conduct normal banking transactions.
