Apple calls the iPhone Air its thinnest iPhone yet. "We're thrilled to introduce the incredibly thin iPhone Air. The thinnest iPhone ever, at 5.6 mm," Cook said.

Apple iPhone 17 features Ceramic Shield 2, a new Apple-designed coating that's triple the scratch resistance. The 7-layer anti-reflective coating reduces glare and makes it easier to read in bright conditions.

The Apple iPhone 17 lineup includes four new models. Features include a 6.3-inch ProMotion display with adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. Powered by the 3nm Apple Silicon A19 chip. Incorporates a 48MP Dual-Fusion camera system.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 offers 42 hours of battery life . It includes support for 5G networks and satellite connectivity. Apple claims the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is "our most advanced technology yet" and the largest display ever on an Apple Watch.

Apple introduced the Apple Watch SE 3, its most affordable model , which now includes the always-on display feature. This smartwatch is powered by the S10 chip and adds support for gestures, such as wrist swipe, a feature debuted with the Apple Watch Series 10.

The Apple Watch will now notify users if it detects signs of high blood pressure . "It won't detect all cases of high blood pressure, but we expect to notify more than one million people with previously unknown high blood pressure during the first year," the California-based company explained.

Apple announced that the new model is twice as scratch-resistant and offers improved cellular connectivity. It also features new Liquid Glass designs and the iOS 26 operating system.

It's the Apple Watch's turn. The presentation began with a video featuring testimonials of how this device has saved lives in emergency situations. Three new versions of the smartwatch line are expected to be announced today.

Apple announces AirPods Pro 3 and says they will feature:

• Heart rate monitoring
• More battery time

The event kicked off with a video that traces the evolution of Apple products, highlighting how all of its devices integrate into everyday life. Following the video, the company's CEO, Tim Cook , appeared on stage to officially kick off the event.
