Realme C75, the "unbreakable" phone: it withstands drops, freezes, and costs less than 500,000 pesos.

In recent months, Argentina has begun receiving an increasing number of cell phones from internationally renowned Chinese brands . With the goal of offering affordable, high-performance, and ultra-durable devices, Realme has already introduced its latest mid-range model to the country: the Realme C75 . A phone that seeks to enter the historic battle between the popular Motorola and Samsung families.

Founded in 2018, Realme is one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the world. Since its arrival in the country in December 2024, with local manufacturing and distribution, its phones have been characterized by offering technology, performance, and attractive designs at affordable prices .

With modern lines and a thickness of just 7.99 mm, it's visually indistinguishable from conventional phones. However, beneath its slim shell lies military-grade protection : the MIL-STD 810H certification, which guarantees resistance to drops and impacts, and the IP69 certification, which makes it immune to dust and water.

It also has the highest level of water and dust resistance: with IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications—the first on the market with IP69. It withstands high temperatures, water jets, and prolonged submersion, respectively.

One of the most demanding tests it was subjected to in the reviews, both by specialists and YouTubers, was its resistance to freezing .

In fact, this Chinese phone is the first in the world to obtain the TÜV Rheinland Rugged Smartphone Certification (including waterproofing, dustproofing, extreme temperature resistance, drop resistance, shock resistance, and more). It also passes the strict MILSTD 810H military-grade shock resistance test. These certifications therefore ensure great durability.

Both achievements were made possible thanks to waterproofing technology, which includes integrated foam seals, redesigned structures, and improved components, according to Realme.

Additionally, the SonicWave Water Ejection feature quickly removes up to 50% of accumulated water from the speaker, which is very beneficial for preventing problems with this component.

To test these qualities, the team subjected themselves to extreme challenges: cutting vegetables on the screen with a knife, freezing it, and submerging it for hours. In all these tests, the device proved to be virtually indestructible.

Another reason for its extreme durability is its body construction. The Realme C75 is built with ArmorShell , a high-strength structural system specifically designed to improve the device's lifespan and durability. This gives it enhanced shock absorption thanks to the use of reinforced corners, internal cushioning, and a high-strength aluminum base plate cover.

It also integrates ArmorShell glass with an aluminum frame, providing 360° drop and impact resistance. This reinforced glass contains 35% more lithium aluminum borate , giving it exceptional impact resistance of up to 2.6 times. It can also withstand drops of up to 2 meters on surfaces such as concrete and marble.

And all this in a 196-gram body, much lighter than the premium Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (218 grams) or the iPhone 16 Pro Max (227 grams).

Inside, the Realme C75 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G92 Max processor, accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the version. This makes it a device capable of handling everyday activities such as social media, web browsing, and even casual gaming. It also offers 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards.

In terms of power, the battery is one of its strong points , with a 5,828 mAh capacity, far superior to several models in higher ranges and prices. This means it can last up to two days with moderate use and supports 45W fast charging, allowing you to reach 50% charge in just over 30 minutes.

Additionally, the Realme C75 features a 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth experience. However, its peak brightness of 690 nits may make it difficult to see outdoors in direct sunlight .

In terms of photography, it features a 50 MP main camera that achieves decent results in good lighting conditions. Its second sensor is optimized for portraits, achieving good blur. However, it doesn't achieve the best results in low light and tends to saturate colors in some shots. While it doesn't excel in this regard, it meets the basic needs for capturing everyday moments.

Artificial intelligence is also present in the Realme C75. While the AI Boost feature further optimizes processor performance, to give it even more power, AI Smart Loop makes switching between apps easier, while AI Clear Face instantly corrects blurry photos.

The Realme C75 is designed for users who need a reliable and durable phone, especially those who regularly expose their devices to harsh conditions. From accidental drops to intense workdays, this phone proves that durability and style, at an affordable price, can go hand in hand.

The price? 399,000 pesos in e-commerce stores.
