Washing clothes from your cell phone and with artificial intelligence: what the new generation of household appliances looks like.

Washing clothes from your cell phone and with artificial intelligence: what the new generation of household appliances looks like.

Samsung has refreshed its line of premium home appliances in Argentina and doubled down on its commitment to artificial intelligence . The new generation of washing machines not only improves design and energy efficiency, but also incorporates adaptive features that transform everyday home experiences.

This technological evolution, which was born in the pre-COVID world, is framed within a concept that the South Korean company called “AI for all”, a vision that seeks democratize artificial intelligence and apply it to concrete solutions that simplify everyday life. One of the most common—and cumbersome—is doing laundry.

To make the task more enjoyable and efficient, washing machines automatically adjust the cycle based on the level of soiling of clothes, and refrigerators learn from usage to save energy, for example.

The name "Bespoke"—which means "made to measure" in English—is no coincidence. In addition to being smart, these products were designed with a strong focus on aesthetic customization, with different colors and finishes to blend with the style of each kitchen or home space.

“Home intelligence is not just about each device, but about how they connect to each other ,” explains Pablo Mateos, Head of Digital Appliances at Samsung Argentina, in an interview with Clarín .

He added: “With the Bespoke AI line, we offer an ecosystem that learns from daily habits, optimizes resources, and simplifies the life of each user.”

Appliances that adapt to the user

One of the highlights of this new line is the 22kg Bespoke AI washing machine, which includes features such as AI Wash & Dry, Super Speed, and Flex Auto Dispenser . This allows it to automatically detect the level of soiling of clothes and adjust the amount of water, detergent, and wash time accordingly.

For more compact homes, the 10.5 kg model offers the same smart features with a Steam Hygiene mode and Digital Inverter motor, which extends its lifespan and reduces consumption.

In the case of refrigerators, the line offers different models with technologies such as AI Energy Mode, which optimizes energy use based on household habits. Some versions include the Family Hub, an interactive screen from which you can check recipes, create shopping lists, or manage other connected devices.

All appliances feature an A+++ or A++ energy efficiency rating, and the Digital Inverter motors come with a 20-year warranty. Furthermore, the brand promotes sustainable technological replacement through the EcoCambio Exchange Plan program, which allows people to trade in used appliances as part of their purchase.

SmartThings: the app that connects your entire home from your cell phone

What sets Samsung apart isn't just the hardware that powers these appliances, but also their complete connectivity. Through the SmartThings app, users can control all their smart devices from their smartphone: start a wash, monitor energy consumption, turn on the lights, or activate the robot vacuum cleaner.

SmartThings also allows you to create personalized routines. For example, when you leave home, you can set the lights to turn off, the washing machine to start, and the security camera to activate. Or, when you return, you can turn on warm lights, play music, and have everything ready for relaxation.

This centralization also helps manage energy expenditure, monitor equipment performance, and generate alerts if anything goes wrong.

The system is compatible not only with Samsung home appliances, but also with accessories such as motion sensors, smart lights, 360° cameras, and programmable buttons, allowing you to expand your smart home experience seamlessly.
