A date has been circulating on social media for several days. Leaker Evan Blass, who specializes in Samsung information leaks, indicates that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9, 2025.

Although Samsung hasn't yet announced an official release date, Evan Blass has a solid track record of gleaning information about Samsung products. The leaker typically receives all the product demo photos and videos a few hours or days before their official announcement.

2025 is definitely the year of finesse for Samsung. After the remarkable release of the Galaxy S25 Edge, the company now has its eyes on its two foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to feature a significant design change. The foldable smartphone is said to be significantly slimmer, becoming much thinner than previous versions, which were often considered quite thick. This is a way for Samsung to compete with increasingly aggressive Chinese competition in this sector, particularly Honor with its Magic V.

Let's not forget the Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphone, which is also expected to benefit from some notable design changes.
