Genshin Impact's special program revealed the contents of update 5.7, along with some hints about the game's future.

Genshin Impact continues to update regularly with new content, characters, and regions to discover. The title has just unveiled the contents of its version 5.7 with a new 5-star character highly anticipated by many players, a new 4-star character, and also a teaser of the next region coming to the game.

Genshin Impact's 5.7 update will be available in June, and we're giving you a rundown of upcoming new features, character banners, and planned events to earn you Primogems!

What are the primogem codes for Genshin Impact update 5.7?

This is surely one of the most anticipated pieces of information players look forward to with each update. With each new release, Genshin Impact offers three codes to obtain primogems. Other small items are also included when redeeming the codes:

Genshin Impact's 5.7 update will be available in-game starting Wednesday, June 18, 2025. This will be the first phase of the update, with the first banner being released during the update. The second banner will be available starting July 2, 2025.

What are the banners in Genshin Impact update 5.7?

Genshin Impact's new 5.7 update features two new banner types and two new characters. The good news is that they're both on the same banner!

The first phase of version 5.7 will feature the characters Skirk, the 5-star Cryo swordsman and master of Tartaglia, as well as Shenhe, the 5-star Cryo spearwoman. Both banners will also feature Dahlia, a new 4-star character that players encountered in the previous update.

The second phase of version 5.7 will feature the return of two 5-star characters: Mavuika, the pyro archon equipped with a claymore, and Emilie, the Dendro specialist equipped with a catalyst.

What's new in Genshin Impact update 5.7?

This new update is an opportunity for players to continue the archon quest with the return of Dainsleif and the player's sister/brother. Adventurers will have to fight their way through multiple creatures of the abyss alongside Dainsleif, who will appear on the field for the first time to assist you in combat.

But that's not all. Genshin Impact version 5.7 will also offer players the opportunity to return to Sumeru for a special event. This event will require players to select companion pieces, similar to games like Teamfight Tactics or Dota Chess. This event will allow players to obtain the 4-star character Sethos for free. Other events, such as the return of tower defense, will also return, allowing them to obtain rewards such as primogems.

A new permanent challenge will also be added to the game. Called "Chthonic Carnage," it will allow you to face bosses that will change with each update to obtain primogems, artifacts, and a brand-new item that allows you to modify artifacts that have already reached the maximum level. Note that this content can also be completed in multiplayer.

Finally, the special program for version 5.7 of Genshin Impact revealed a short excerpt of what awaits players in the upcoming updates, including the Nod-Krai region and several highly anticipated characters.
