Esposito (Microsoft), 'AI is popular but adoption must be guided'

"Big companies are already ready to approach the world of AI while small and medium-sized companies still lack knowledge of the tools often for lack of time". So says Vincenzo Esposito, CEO of Microsoft Italy, during the Siemens Tech Talks in Milan, has traced an overview of the use of generative AI by Italian companies. "In the last two years - he recalled - solutions like ChatGpt have become very popular but adoption in the field professional must be guided. The business world must analyze more deeply the actual use and benefit in integrating AI tools into professional activities. This is because there are still some grey areas to be resolved. A an example above all is artificial intelligence which frees the workers' time, we often repeat. How do we fill that time? We need to review people's growth path, allocating the jobs differently, lightened, totally or in part, by AI." Esposito recalled that artificial intelligence generative technology presents itself as a democratic technology: "Its barrier to entry is very low, so much so that many of the chatbots today they can also be used for free. A support in adoption it is necessary to best optimize resources of AI and ensure that it has a positive impact on businesses". Microsoft Launches AI Lab to Help Organizations of our country to study generative AI solutions that respond to real market needs.
