Google Announces $250-a-Month AI Subscription

Google's new "AI Ultra" plan, initially available in the US at $249.99 per month, offers access to the company's most advanced models, exclusive features like Deep Think and Project Mariner, up to 30TB of cloud storage, and direct integration with AI tools in Chrome, marking a strong step towards the professional adoption of artificial intelligence.

Google has launched a new subscription plan called “AI Ultra,” aimed at professional users and businesses interested in exploiting the full potential of the company’s artificial intelligence technologies. The service, initially available in the United States at a monthly cost of $249.99, provides access to Google’s most advanced models and offers the highest usage limits for all of the company’s AI applications, including Gemini, NotebookLM, Whisk, and the video generation tool called Flow. Among the plan’s exclusive features is the ability to use “Deep Think,” an advanced reasoning mode available with Gemini 2.5 Pro, designed to tackle complex problems in mathematics and writing code. Subscribers will also have early access to Gemini directly from Chrome, where they will be able to receive automatic assistance in managing assignments and summarizing online content.

The AI ​​Ultra plan also includes access to Project Mariner, an experimental prototype that can handle up to ten simultaneous tasks, such as online searches, bookings, and purchases. These tools are joined by a YouTube Premium subscription for individuals and up to 30 terabytes of storage, shared across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. Google has also updated its $19.99 per month AI Pro plan, which now includes both Flow access and Gemini integration within the Chrome browser at no additional cost. The update will be available initially in the United States, with an international rollout expected in the coming weeks.
