Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2025 in the name of pop and integration between real and digital

Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2025 in the name of pop and integration between real and digital

From 28 to 30 November 2025, the pavilions of Fiera Milano Rho will host a new edition of Milan Games Week & Cartoomics, an event dedicated to the universe of pop culture, including video games, comics, eSports, cinema, music and entertainment. The event, organized by Fiera Milano in collaboration with Fandango Club Creators, confirms itself as one of the main national events for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector, with an increasingly broad and structured offer. The 2025 edition presents itself with the theme "OnLife", a concept that summarizes the now constant fusion between online and offline in everyday life, highlighting the growing role of technology in defining identity and personal experience. A common thread that will guide the contents, initiatives and artistic proposals of the event.

According to Fiera Milano, the goal of Milan Games Week & Cartoomics is to consolidate its role as a cultural and experiential platform. “The success of the latest editions, with over 125,000 attendees in 2024, confirms the growing interest of the public and the effectiveness of a model that combines entertainment, participation and innovation,” said CEO Francesco Conci, underlining the intention to strengthen the event’s identity as a dynamic and inclusive space. Fandango Club Creators, co-organizer of the initiative, also highlights the distinctive nature of the event, based on a contemporary language and a highly interactive approach. Marco Moretti, president of the company, reiterated the commitment to creating tailor-made experiences for a young and digitally connected audience, offering activation opportunities for brands and contributing to the construction of authentic communities.

For the first time, the event will receive the official support of the Municipality of Milan and the Lombardy Region. The Municipality will participate with a program of widespread initiatives, from August to November, aimed at promoting pop culture among young people, through workshops, meetings and training courses. The Councilor for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policies, Martina Riva, emphasized the educational and social value of the initiative, capable of involving the new generations also on the level of reflection and personal development.

The Lombardy Region, through the Department of University, Research and Innovation, will promote a dialogue with local universities. “The integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence in video games opens up development scenarios in educational and scientific fields,” said Councilor Alessandro Fermi, highlighting the interest of Lombard universities in participating in shared innovation paths.

The key visual of the 2025 edition has been entrusted to the artist Marco Checchetto, an internationally renowned author known for his work on Marvel Comics titles. He will be joined by numerous guests from the comics and video game scene, including Brian M. Bendis, Peach Momoko, Paul Azaceta, Lee Ji-Min and CB Cebulski. On the music and video game front, Hitoshi Sakimoto, composer of the soundtracks of Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII, and Eric Monacelli, executive producer of Marvel Games, are expected.

The event will be spread across four pavilions and will offer meetings, live performances, thematic areas, tournaments and presentations, with the aim of offering an immersive and participatory experience. The ticket office is already active on the official website www.milangamesweek.it, with various entry options designed to encourage broad participation. Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2025 thus confirms itself as a privileged observatory of the transformations underway in the world of entertainment, and an opportunity to explore the future of cultural industries between creativity, technology and innovation.
