Lenovo renews its portfolio of laptops, gaming equipment and tablets with AI as the protagonist

Lenovo renews its portfolio of laptops, gaming equipment and tablets with AI as the protagonist

Lenovo has managed to position itself as one of the companies most committed to innovation. This is demonstrated by its devices with transparent panels, screens that can be rolled up to make them larger, and even solar-charged computers. Some of these are just being tested, but others, like the rollable one, will hit the market this summer.

And part of this commitment to innovation focuses on artificial intelligence. Specifically, the Asian company has stated that it will invest $1 billion in AI over the next three years, " seeking to make Lenovo a leader in innovation with almost unimaginable products," according to Patricia Núñez, head of Lenovo's PC, tablet, and smart device business in Iberia.

Lenovo also reached the top spot in consumer laptops in fiscal year 2025, with 17% year-over-year growth and a 22.5% market share. In May, the share rose to 28.1%. In the tablet business, it is number two globally and positioned itself as number one in June with a 33% market share, according to figures shared by Núñez during the presentation.

With this commitment to innovation and a strong position in the Spanish and global markets, the company announces new equipment.

New Yoga

The company has announced two new devices in its Yoga family, its most powerful laptops, the Yoga Slim 9 and Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition.

The Slim 9 boasts a mirrored glass back with an anti-fingerprint finish. It also features a 14-inch display and is equipped with camera-under-display (CUD) technology, which minimizes bezels and achieves a 98% screen-to-body ratio with a 4K PureSight Pro OLED panel.

This Windows 11 Copilot+ PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with a 48-bit NPU. Lenovo AI Core software uses the NPU to power creative apps, dynamically adjust settings, and adaptively manage power in real time. Plus, its 75WHr battery offers up to 17 hours of battery life. It starts at €2,099.

In the case of the new Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition, this surname is used because it incorporates Lenovo and Intel's exclusive AI , focused on improving the user experience at no additional cost. Specifically, it adds new intelligent usage modes, such as SmartShare, which facilitates communication and information exchange between devices with different operating systems; SmartCare, which offers easy access to technical support via chat or mobile; and other modes to reduce noise and improve the camera in meetings, optimize energy efficiency, and even warn the user if their body posture is not correct during use.

This device will be available with Intel and AMD processors, with a standard configuration of 32GB RAM with 1TB and an OLED display, starting at €1,399.

Legion

In the case of gaming laptops, Lenovo has updated a good part of its catalog.

Among the Pro models, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16") and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (16", 10) are added, both equipped with Intel processors up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. To offer greater customization, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (16", 10) is also added this year, powered by AMD processors up to AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i features next-generation processors and superior thermal management, highlighting its Legion Coldfront Vapor technology with hyperchamber, capable of reaching up to 250W TDP for exceptional performance in the most demanding tasks. Retail prices start at €2,999.

But the king of the family is the Lenovo Legion 9i, with resolution up to 4K in 2D and, optionally, 2K in 3D.

It also features a dual-mode display. This allows you to switch between a 240Hz refresh rate in 4K and a 440Hz refresh rate in FHD resolution, optimizing graphics fluidity and speed as needed. The display maximizes viewing space with a 93% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels. It starts at €4,899.

For their part, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (16", 10) and Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (16", 10) models integrate Coldfront Hyper technology, which optimizes performance up to 200W TDP and presents a renewed design with large vents. This design is complemented by the Coldfront Hyper thermal management system, which incorporates turbocharged fans and large-volume 3D copper heat pipes. They start at 1,899 euros.

The Legion Go handheld console also adds a new member, the Go S, which is based on Windows and features an 8-inch display. It also has an officially licensed version powered by SteamOS: the Lenovo Legion Go S Powered by SteamOS.

New tablets

The Asian company has announced its first tablet with built-in AI (on-device), enabling faster responses, greater privacy, personalization, and energy efficiency. The new Yoga Tab Plus includes features such as AI Note, which facilitates assisted writing, and AI Transcript, which converts speech to text in real time. Available from €799.

The Lenovo IdeaTab Pro is the successor to the P12 Pro, but with an improved processor and refresh rate. One of its flagship versions will have a matte screen that simulates reading on an e-book, ideal for reducing glare. It sells for €429.
