Astrophysicists have said how long a powerful geomagnetic storm may last

Leus: Magnetic storm to last until afternoon of June 2

Leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Mikhail Leus stated that the magnetic storm, which began at night, will presumably remain strong until the end of the day and will end in the second half of June 2.

Leus said on his Telegram channel that the strength of the magnetic storm on June 1 will fluctuate between levels G3 (strong) and G4 (very strong), and may sometimes reach the maximum level G5 (extremely strong).

The geomagnetic storm began at night and remained weak for the first few hours.
