Airbus Takes Part in IDEF 2025 with Its Latest Defense Solutions

Airbus, one of Europe's leading aerospace and defense companies, will be participating in IDEF 2025 – the 17th International Defense Industry Fair, to be held at the Istanbul Expo Center from July 22-27, 2025. At this important event, Airbus will not only showcase its cutting-edge defense and space technologies but also celebrate 40 years of strong cooperation with Türkiye.

Airbus, which will be located in Hall 7 / Stand 7-C02, will once again demonstrate to fair visitors that it is Türkiye's strategic partner in both military and commercial aviation.

40-Year Partnership with Türkiye

The Airbus-Turkey collaboration, which began in 1985 with the delivery of the A310 to Turkish Airlines, has expanded to encompass a wide range of areas, from defense and space to aircraft procurement and industrial production. Highlights include:

Airbus generates $600 million in annual production from more than 40 suppliers in Türkiye. The company, which directly employs more than 3,500 people nationwide, had accumulated spending of $4 billion by the end of 2023. Airbus aims to increase this figure to $8 billion by 2030.

Defense and Space Solutions to Take Center Stage at IDEF 2025

Airbus will showcase its latest products from its defense and space portfolio throughout the fair. Strategic transport aircraft like the A400M, space solutions, and helicopter technologies will be showcased to representatives of both the regional and global defense sectors.
