AKİT columnist calls on Erdoğan to retire!

While Yüksel Tokur, a columnist for the reactionary Yeni Akit newspaper, called for the retirement of AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in his article, he also announced the name he wants to be appointed as the successor to Erdoğan.

Tokur used the following expressions in his article:

“Actually, we also want RTE, the man of the people, to be very tired and to spend the rest of his life with himself and his family!

We cannot blindly say, like you, 'Let him go, let whoever comes, no matter what the country is.' Because we have love for our country and our nation.

Even if that big plane tree falls down, it will surely grow a sapling to take its place!”
