Antalya Airports Sets Wings to a New Record

Antalya and Gazipaşa airports witnessed one of the busiest days of the 2025 summer season. According to data shared by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, a total of 102,006 foreign visitors entered Türkiye through the two airports on July 19, 2025. This number made history as the highest daily visitor count ever recorded for a July month.
This performance is directly related to Antalya Airport's passenger processing capacity, apron management, terminal flow capability and efficiency in air traffic control processes.
Following the previous level of 100,681 people on July 11, the figure of 102,000 people on July 19 represents not only a July record but also a level very close to the all-time record of 102,755 people set in August 2024.
The total number of foreign visitors arriving in Antalya by air between January 1 and July 19, 2025, reached 7,874,687. This figure strongly suggests that the record could be broken by the end of the year.
Antalya continues to be one of the leading hubs of both Türkiye and the Mediterranean basin in terms of air transport infrastructure, international airport connections and destination management.
This strong momentum in tourism is seen as a reflection of the international promotion, aviation-tourism integration and coordinated sector policies pursued within the scope of the "Turkish Century" vision.
This near-record traffic demonstrates the strength of its aviation infrastructure, as well as the successful coordination of airlines, ground handling services, and border crossing operations. Antalya became a star not only in tourism but also in air transportation in the summer of 2025.
