April 26 World Pilots Day Celebration Program Announced

April 26, which is accepted as the day when Turkey's first pilot and Badge holder number 1 Feza Evrensev made his first flight in the skies of Turkey, has been accepted as the "World Pilots Day" all over the world since 2014, with the proposal of TALPA and the joint decision of the International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations (IFALPA) and the European Cockpit Association (ECA).

As of 2022, this day has taken its place as a day celebrated all over the world. TALPA's traditional April 26 World Pilots Day Ball will take place on April 27, 2025 this year at Divan Kuruçeşme Istanbul.

More than 800 participants are expected to attend the ball, where artists Emre ALTUĞ and Seda METE will perform.
