Athena Gökhan's Fenerbahçe protest: It's nobody's property!

Fenerbahçe were eliminated from the Champions League after a 1-0 defeat to Benfica thanks to a goal from Kerem Aktürkoğlu. Following the match, Athena frontman Gökhan Özoğuz shared a reproachful post on social media.

Özoğuz's post is as follows:

"Fenerbahçe club should exist with those who are Fenerbahçe fans at heart, from the club's management to the coaches and all the team players.

No person or team can be held above the club. Fenerbahçe is not anyone's personal property. Its sole permanent owner is its fans.

The spirit does not change, but times can be turbulent. But now Fenerbahçe must unite and stand up as one."
