International Certification Approval for HÜRJET: DOA and POA Documents Received

The national jet training aircraft, HÜRJET, has successfully completed another important step in its certification journey. President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün announced that the aircraft has been registered to international aviation standards, having received the Design Organization Approval (DOA) and Production Organization Approval (POA) documents.

Görgün made the following statement on his social media account:

HÜRJET, the original son of the skies, has successfully crossed another strategic milestone in its certification journey. DOA and POA certifications represent the certification of our national aviation vision at international standards. This achievement is not only a technical achievement; it is also a historic step towards independent skies.

Görgün emphasized that HÜRJET will serve as a jet training aircraft in the future and will also bear the traces of national engineering on the battlefield.

Designed as Türkiye's first jet training aircraft, HÜRJET is expected to play a critical role in both pilot training and the development of national defense capabilities in the future.
