New button coming to WhatsApp: No need to delete the app anymore

WhatsApp, one of the most widely used messaging applications in the world, is testing a new feature that will change user habits. While it has been quite difficult to log out of the application on mobile devices until now, with the new feature being tested, this process can now be completed with a few taps.

The new "Sign Out" option, which was noticed in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.17.37, allows users to exit the application without deleting their account data and personal preferences. This innovation offers great convenience, especially for those who do not want to use the application for a short time or who have to share their phones with someone else.

Currently, Android users must clear app data to log out, or iOS users must uninstall the app entirely.

However, the exit button, which has been available on WhatsApp Web and desktop applications for a long time, makes this process extremely practical. With the new mobile exit feature, similar comfort will now be provided on mobile phones.

This button, which is located in the user settings menu in the beta version, is positioned just below the "Delete Account" option. There are two different options: The first allows you to reset the application by deleting all data and settings; while the second allows you to only log out, preserving data and settings. This allows users to continue their chat history and preferences where they left off when they log back into the application later.

It is not clear when this new launch feature, which is still in the development phase, will be available to all users. It is also not clear whether it will be active on both Android and iOS platforms at the same time. However, it is clear that this innovation is part of WhatsApp's vision of developing user-friendly applications.
