Number of Tourists Coming to Antalya Nears 12 Million

Antalya, Türkiye's tourism capital, welcomed a record number of tourists with 2,711,395 visitors in August 2025. According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this figure represents an increase of 37,953 compared to the same period last year.

Russia topped the list of countries sending the most tourists to Antalya this season, followed by Germany and the UK. It was emphasized that the city's all-inclusive pricing is particularly strong, and that alternative tourism options encourage visitors to venture beyond hotels.

Tourism expert Yorulmaz stated that culture, sports, and event tourism play a significant role in the interest in the city, saying, "Investments in ancient cities and museums are crucial for diversifying tourism. We are also increasing Antalya's appeal through events like sports organizations."

Antalya was on the holiday route of 11,702,733 foreign tourists between January 1 and August 31.
