THY to open a new line in Asia

Turkish Airlines (THY) is preparing to add a new destination to its flight network. The company announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has decided to start scheduled flights to Cambodia's capital Punom Pen. The statement stated that the flights will be planned depending on market conditions and operational possibilities.

Located in Southeast Asia, Punom Pen is the largest city in Cambodia and its most important economic, cultural and historical center. Located on the banks of the Mekong River, the city stands out with its touristic and historical sites such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Also a key point in Cambodia's trade and diplomacy, Punom Pen is considered an important destination in terms of business and tourism mobility in the region.
