Tragic news from the child lost at sea in Tekirdağ!

The lifeless body of 14-year-old Samet İstanbul, who disappeared at sea around 22:00 yesterday in the Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ and whose search efforts began, was found around 14:30 today.
Diving teams from the Coast Guard Command and the Provincial Police Department's Seaport Branch located Istanbul approximately 16.5 hours after his disappearance, 50 meters offshore. Samet Istanbul's body was taken by Coast Guard boat, from where it was placed in a hearse and taken to the morgue of Tekirdağ Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital.
WHAT HAPPENED?
14-year-old Samet İstanbul and AY disappeared shortly after entering the sea in the Yacht Harbour area yesterday, and upon receiving a report, teams from the Provincial Police Department Sea Port Branch and the Coast Guard Command were dispatched to the region.
Brought to shore by police divers, AY was taken to Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital by ambulance, and a search operation was launched to find S.İ.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced that an 8.8 magnitude earthquake occurred 119 kilometers southeast of the city of Petropavlovk-Kamchatskiy on Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula at 02:24 Turkish time.
Following the earthquake, which was recorded at a depth of 20.7 kilometers, a tsunami warning was issued for Russia, Japan, Mexico, the US states of Alaska and Hawaii, the Pacific Ocean coasts and the Pacific Islands.
THEY WERE CAUGHT IN THE EARTHQUAKE IN THE OPERATING ROOM
Medical workers in Kamchatka were caught in the operating room by the earthquake. Despite the tremors, three doctors hugged the patient tightly, protecting him.
The biggest earthquake since 1952
The Kamchatka Branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences stated on social media that the earthquake in Kamchatka was the largest in the region since 1952. Academy officials stated that aftershocks of magnitude 7.5 are expected for at least a month.
A state of emergency was declared in the Kamchatka city of Severo-Kurilsk due to the earthquake and tsunami. It was reported that there were no casualties in Severo-Kurilsk, a town of approximately 2,400 people, and that residents had been evacuated to safe areas. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations also announced that there were no casualties following the earthquake.
