UAE and Jordan send air aid to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Jordan, with the support of France, Germany, Italy and Spain, delivered humanitarian aid supplies to Gaza, which is under Israeli blockade, with seven planes.
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi held a telephone conversation to increase aid efforts and coordination.
Last week, Israel began allowing foreign countries to receive air aid. However, some of these aid shipments landed on civilians, resulting in fatalities and some landing at sea, sparking controversy.
