Will the commission go to İmralı? A striking statement from DEM Party member Beştaş

Following the reaction of DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan, who said that there has been no meeting with the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan for a month, DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli announced that the DEM Party delegation is likely to go to İmralı this week to meet with the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
DEM Party Erzurum Deputy Meral Danış Beştaş also made a noteworthy statement regarding the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission.
Speaking to Mesopotamia Agency (MA), Beştaş said:
He said, "I believe the commission's visit to İmralı and the issue of hearings will occur in the coming weeks. This is inherent in the process. The dissolution of the PKK, the laying down of arms, and the stages of the peace process were shaped by his statements. The person the state is also speaking to is Öcalan. If the victims of the conflict, lawyers, and academics are being listened to today, then the interlocutor of the process should also be heard. Its contribution to the process is undeniable. Because both the party and the interlocutor of the process is Öcalan."
