YouTube's paid feature is now available to everyone! A user discovered it by chance

YouTube, Google's video platform, has now made video downloading, previously available only to Premium subscribers, available to free users. This feature, which is now available to users in the UK, allows users to download videos beforehand and watch them offline.
YouTube Premium subscribers continue to enjoy perks like ad-free streaming, access to YouTube Music, and higher quality options. Premium members can also download videos in their original resolution and watch them offline.
NON-PREMIUM PAYERS WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD VIDEOSThe new feature, available to free users, comes with a resolution limitation. Non-Premium members will only be able to download videos in 144p or 360p quality. Watching them offline at higher resolutions requires a Premium subscription.
YouTube's move will be particularly convenient for users on long journeys or in areas with limited internet access. The feature, which first came to the fore after a Reddit user discovered it, has sparked controversy on social media but has garnered positive reviews from many users.
The same app doesn't appear to be available in Türkiye right now. Some speculate that YouTube may have done this by mistake, but this feature, which doesn't require premium, may be available in Türkiye in the future.
