Chinese internet giant to spend billions of dollars on customer incentives

Companies that offer their goods on the sales platform have been required to prepare their own promotions to further stimulate consumption in China.

Chinese authorities encourage their citizens to increase consumption

Amid tensions in global trade and reduced economic exchanges with the United States, the government led by Premier Li Qiang is focusing on the domestic market as an alternative to exports.

Information about the start of the promotion was provided on the Taobao e-commerce platform belonging to Alibaba in an official entry on the WebChat account.

Alibaba is also developing other services, including offering cloud solutions and the ability to use data centers built in different countries.

The expanding network of data centers ensures that Alibaba Cloud will be able to meet the growing global demand for secure and cyber-resistant retail services that enable companies, developers and organizations to widely use artificial intelligence.

At the beginning of the year, the company presented its strategy for the development of new technologies and confirmed that it would allocate USD 52 billion for this purpose over the next three years.

A few days ago, Alibaba launched its third data center in Malaysia, the fourth will be put into operation by the end of the year in the Philippines.

Regardless, the largest artificial intelligence center is being created in Singapore, which will ultimately serve 5,000 companies in the Southeast Asian region.
