With the cost of living crisis still hurting pockets, millions of UK homes continue to look for much cheaper ways to stream premium TV. That hunt for content gets even bigger at this time of year, with things such as the Premier League kicking off, along with the climax to the current F1 season.

It's no secret that plenty of people have switched to streaming via so-called dodgy Fire TV Sticks. These often offer full access to streams for a one-off fee but are fraught with danger, including exposing homes to malware and inappropriate content.

Luckily, there is a way to tune into all the upcoming sporting action for a cheaper price and without all the worries of illegal streaming.

Sky's NOW service offers easy access to all of its channels without needing a dish stuck to the wall. It's available on Fire TV Sticks - along with over 60 other gadgets, including consoles, smart tellies, Roku Sticks and tablets.

There's also no long-term contract to sign, and you can leave at any time—most standard Sky deals require customers to commit for 24 months.

If that wasn't tempting enough there's a new deal which offering NOW members the chance to grab 12 months of full Sky Sports access and pay just £28 per month. That's a saving of 20% off the usual price.

This offer includes 12 channels such as Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports Action. There's also access to golf, cricket, racing, tennis and daily news.

As a quick comparison, those signing up to full Sky package with Sports will currently pay at least £35 per month via a 24-month contract.

Don't want to watch sport?

Along with that discount, there are also offers on Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment, which are both priced at £6.99 rather than the usual £9.99.
