ICEYE to Produce Satellites Together with Germany

- The joint venture is intended to strengthen ICEYE’s efforts to develop space defense technologies.
- Satellites and other space solutions will be developed as part of Rheinmetall's new Space Cluster.
- On May 8, 2025, a cooperation agreement (MoU) was signed in this regard.
The new company, operating under the name Rheinmetall ICEYE Space Solutions, is to be established with the participation of Rheinmetall as the majority shareholder (60 percent of shares) and ICEYE (40 percent). The creation of the new entity will be finalized after the conclusion of final agreements and obtaining the appropriate regulatory approvals.
Rheinmetall ICEYE Space Solutions will produce satellites as part of the German Rheinmetall Space Cluster. Initially , SAR satellites will be produced there, with other space solutions to follow in subsequent stages . Production is to start in the second quarter of 2026, including at the plant in Neuss.
