Netflix raise subscription prices again but you can get it free with Sky's £15 TV deal

Netflix has raised its monthly subscription costs for new and existing members, but there's a way to get it for free with Sky's £15 TV deal. Earlier this month, the streaming giant announced that customers across all three of its subscription tiers will now have to pay up to £24 more per yeah to continue enjoying popular series like Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Stranger Things.
The price rise took effect on February 6 for new subscribers, while existing ones will be notified via email 30 days prior to the change. The most significant hike is on Netflix's Standard plan, which has risen by £2 per month to £12.99.
This marks a 20% increase from the previous £10.99 rate, while Netflix's Standard with adverts and Premium plans have each increased by £1, bringing them to £5.99 and £18.99 respectively. However, Brits can now save more than £95 by bundling Netflix with a Sky TV package.

Last year, Sky introduced a range of revamped TV packs including the £15 per month Essential TV plan, which includes a free Netflix subscription. Sky also allows you to keep your existing Netflix account and transfers the payment to your Sky bill for you so you don't pay twice, reports Wales Online.
This package also provides access to more than 100 TV channels including Sky Atlantic and Sky Sports News, as well as a Discovery+ subscription. It's worth mentioning that this deal comes with the Netflix Standard with adverts plan, but you can upgrade to the Standard option for an extra £5 if you prefer.
Opting for this route costs £60 annually, which saves £95.88 compared to the £155.88 you'd pay if you subscribed to Netflix directly. Sky also offers an upgrade to Netflix Premium for an extra £10, which results in an annual saving of £107.88.
Currently, Sky has slashed its prices for both Netflix Standard and Premium by £1 as part of a limited-time offer, although the end date for this promotion has not been confirmed. To get these discounted rates means signing up for a 24-month contract, but bear in mind Sky says its 'prices may change' during the minimum term.
In addition to the Essential TV plan, Netflix is bundled with the £22 Ultimate TV plan, which boasts more than 40 extra channels compared to the basic option. The newly launched Sky Glass Gen 2 smart TV also comes with free Netflix access on the brand's latest QLED device, complete with built-in Sky channels and streaming apps.
Elsewhere, Virgin Media is giving away a free Hisense 4K smart TV or £200 bill credit with select packages, some of which also come with a free Netflix subscription, such as the Biggest Combo bundle. Although it's a pricier choice at £78.99 per month, this includes 516Mbps fibre broadband, more than 210 TV channels including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, and Netflix Standard with adverts at no additional cost.
