Opportunities for Polish business in Taiwan. Interesting discussion during EEC 2025

Opportunities for Polish business in Taiwan. Interesting discussion during EEC 2025

Taiwan is a global technology hub that produces the most advanced semiconductors, which are key to the development of many sectors of the economy. Poland wants to establish close cooperation with this country. We will discuss the challenges facing Polish businesses investing in Taiwan during the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice.

Polish business, due to geopolitical conditions, as well as the need for further development, is looking for new places for investment that go beyond the single European market. Taiwan, a technological champion with highly developed ICT technologies, is a very convenient partner for our country.

Poland is counting on the transfer of semiconductor technology from Taiwan

Cooperation in the field of chip production technology and possible investments by Taiwanese companies in this area are most desired by the Polish side. Currently, concepts are being developed to create a semiconductor triangle: Prague, Dresden, Wrocław , within which Taiwan can develop its technologies. There are also new initiatives involving business partners from special economic zones in southwestern Poland, who can create favorable conditions for investment for Taiwanese partners.
