Undercode Day 2025: Mendoza becomes the epicenter of technological innovation

On September 6th and 7th, Espacio Arizu will host one of the most anticipated events for innovation lovers. Underc0de Day 2025 returns to Mendoza with free admission, in a format that combines top-level talks, hackathons, a gamer zone, interactive experiences, educational and job opportunities, music, and gastronomy.

More than an event, Underc0de Day is presented as a meeting point for IT professionals, students, entrepreneurs, technology companies, and educational institutions , with the aim of promoting knowledge, collaboration, and job placement in the sector.

Saturday, September 6th, will be geared toward the professional and academic community, with technical and motivational talks on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, software development, testing, video games, UX/UI, blockchain, and agile methodologies.

One of the highlights will be the first open hackathon for QA students and testing enthusiasts , where teams will have to solve real-world challenges. The prize for the winning group: scholarships to take the international ISTQB exam.

There will also be panels on the digital divide, the inclusion of women in technology, and strategies for entering the IT workforce.

On Sunday the 7th, the event will open to the general public. There will be gaming tournaments , an interactive area with stands featuring companies and organizations, educational project showcases, networking opportunities, guided tours, live music, DJs, and food trucks. The event is designed for families, young people, and curious people of all ages to explore technology in a fun and engaging way.

Behind this gathering is Underc0de , a community born in 2011 when Mendoza native Danilo "Dinno" Vezzoni began sharing study materials on computer security. Over the years, that blog has transformed into an international network with thousands of members in Latin America and Spain, now organized as a foundation dedicated to education and job creation in the IT world.

“Stagnant knowledge is stagnant development. At Underc0de, we believe in the free flow of knowledge, in sharing, evolving, and generating concrete opportunities,” says Vezzoni.

In addition to its educational and social impact, Undercode Day seeks to consolidate Mendoza as a national benchmark in information and communications technologies.
