Did you know that Samsung phones have a hidden button to boost Wi-Fi?

Present on the majority of recent Samsung smartphones, this button allows you to benefit from several improvements.
Samsung may be one of the world's leading smartphone manufacturers, but the company continues to release new, feature-rich devices every year. Recently, the Korean company released its new foldable phones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold 7, which boast a host of innovations to help them stand out from the competition.
But the feature we're talking about today has been around for a while. In fact, it's even built into recent Samsung smartphones that feature at least OneUI 6, due out in 2023. While hidden, this feature offers many small options to improve the quality of your Wi-Fi network.

To find this button, you'll need to open your Samsung's "Settings" app. There, you'll find the "Wi-Fi" option, which you can check or uncheck. Instead, we'll choose to click on it to open the list of current and available networks. Once on the networks screen, you should find three small dots in the top right corner, allowing you to click on the "Smart Wi-Fi" menu.
This is the feature we're talking about, and it's packed with handy little options. You can choose whether or not to switch between mobile and Wi-Fi depending on the signal strength, and also whether to allow your smartphone to automatically switch Wi-Fi networks if it detects one better than the one it's currently connected to.
One of its best features is definitely "automatic Wi-Fi activation/deactivation." As its name suggests, it allows you to analyze the places you visit frequently and where you have a saved Wi-Fi network.
Once you get there, your Samsung will automatically turn on Wi-Fi to connect to it. Outside of these locations, the phone will instead turn off Wi-Fi to avoid connecting you to foreign and potentially dangerous networks.
