Nvidia is on track to become the most valuable company in history, with Apple falling far behind

Nvidia's latest chips have seen a boost in training the largest AI models, Reuters reports, fueling demand for the Santa Clara, California-based company's products.

The second-most valuable company on Wall Street, with a market capitalization of $3.7 trillion, is now Microsoft . Its shares rose 1.7% to $499.56.

Apple rose 0.8 percent to a market value of $3.19 trillion and third place.

The race for AI data centers continues among tech giants

The race between Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Alphabet and Tesla to build AI data centers and dominate the emerging technology has fueled demand for Nvidia's high-end processors.

"When the first company hit $1 trillion, it was incredible. And now we're talking about $4 trillion, which is just unbelievable. It shows that the spending on AI is huge and everyone is chasing it now," said Joe Saluzzi, co-head of trading at Themis Trading.

Nvidia's stock value has increased eightfold in four years

Nvidia, whose core technology was developed to power video games, has seen its stock market value increase nearly eightfold in the past four years , from $500 billion in 2021 to nearly $4 trillion .

Nvidia is now worth more than the combined value of the Canadian and Mexican stock markets, according to LSEG data. The tech company also exceeds the total value of all publicly traded companies in the UK.

Polish Bielik will cooperate with Nvidia

In June, co-creator of the Polish Bielik.AI project, Sebastian Kondracki, announced the signing of a letter of intent on cooperation with Nvidia .

The aim of the cooperation - according to Sebastian Kondracki - will be to build the foundations of sovereign artificial intelligence for the EMEA region, with particular emphasis on Europe.
