Naples DevFest 2025, the fifth edition at Città della Scienza: innovation, startups, and gaming for the future.

On October 11th, over a thousand attendees attended the international developers and startup fair organized by Google Developer Groups Naples. The special theme was "Retrowave," a journey through the past and future of technology.

Naples returns as the capital of innovation with the fifth edition of Napoli DevFest , the international fair dedicated to developers, startups, and artificial intelligence, organized by Google Developer Groups Napoli . The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025, in the evocative setting of Città della Scienza , at Via Coroglio 57, where more than 1,000 visitors are expected.

Since its inception, the Neapolitan DevFest has established itself as a hub for the tech community in Southern Italy and beyond, growing year after year to become a major international event. The 2025 edition promises to be the largest ever, with an exceptional Main Stage and the special theme "Retrowave," a concept that blends retro aesthetics with a futuristic vision.

The beating heart of the event will be the Tech Arena in the Newton Room , where community leaders Alessio Romaniello and Sergio Caiazza will open the proceedings with the inaugural keynote. International speakers will take turns on the stage, including Amanda Cavallaro, Saverio Terracciano, and Kübra Harmankaya (Google Developer Experts from London), alongside professionals from companies such as Randstad Digital, Ubisoft Milan, Lemon Hub, Tiny Bull Studios, and Horns Level Up Games .

There is also great anticipation for the new features of 2025 :

• the Startup Challenge , with a jury of investors and business angels led by Alberto Giusti, who will reward the most promising ideas;

• the Food Area , where tradition and contamination will meet between fried pizzas and Asian fusion cuisine by Asiapolitan;

• the Gaming Village , a space dedicated to PCs and consoles for hands-on sessions and previews from the most important video game development studios.
