Zuckerberg unveils new group for 'super intelligence'

Mark Zuckerberg announces a reorganization of the group that deals with artificial intelligence within Meta: its activities will fall into the Meta Superintelligence Labs led by Alexander Wang, the former CEO of Scale AI. Bloomberg reports, underlining that Wang will be joined by Nat Friedman, the former number one of Github.

"As the pace of AI accelerates, the development of super intelligence is on the horizon. I believe this will be the beginning of a new era, and I am committed to doing everything we can to ensure Meta leads the way" in the transformation, Zuckerberg said, pledging to develop AI 'super intelligence' that can perform tasks as well as or better than humans.
