The PGE Group has announced a tender for a system to improve the management of network assets

PGE announced that a tender procedure is being conducted within the PGE Group for the delivery and implementation of a GIS (Geographic Information System) IT system, which is to assist in the analysis, planning and management of PGE Dystrybucja's energy infrastructure.

- The system being built will enable the standardization of asset management at PGE Dystrybucja in a comprehensive manner – from the planning process and investment implementation in the area of ​​new fixed assets or elements of network assets – said Jacek Drozd , President of the Management Board of PGE Dystrybucja , quoted in the press release.

- The subject of the order is the comprehensive implementation of the GIS system, which will enable, among other things, passporting, i.e. the process of recording and reporting data on the power grid infrastructure, and integration with the company's existing IT systems - added Jacek Drozd.

The procedure is being conducted in the public procurement formula . PGE announced that the company responsible for its course and, subsequently, the implementation of the solution is PGE Systemy.

The procedure provides for the extension of the order under the so-called option right – including the handling of emergency notifications, network development planning, engineering analyses and equipment management.

The described new solution is intended to support the management of network assets under the Technical Distribution Asset Management Program (TZMD).

- Process standardization is a key element of the TZMD program . PGE Systemy is implementing modern tools as standards for the entire PGE group. The TZMD project is based on ready-made solutions, and the integration of systems is to ensure smooth work without the need to switch between them - said Robert Grochowski, CEO of PGE Systemy , quoted in the release.
