Another arrest in the investigation into the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality

GT was taken into custody as part of an investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.
After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and arrested by the criminal judge of peace on duty for the crime of "concealing and altering criminal evidence."
It was claimed that the suspect met with Muhittin Böcek's daughter-in-law, ZB, upon his return from abroad.
WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of an investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his former daughter-in-law, ZK, were detained. Böcek's son, MGB, was determined to be abroad. Muhittin Böcek was referred to the courthouse and arrested, while his former daughter-in-law, ZK, was released on probation and subject to a travel ban. Böcek was subsequently suspended from office.
In the course of the investigation, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Serkan Temuçin, who was detained, and Tuncay Kaya, who worked as a director in the Department of Urban Aesthetics, were arrested on charges of "extortion," while IT support worker Halil K. was released on a judicial control measure and house arrest.
Muhittin Böcek's daughter-in-law, Zuhal Böcek, who had returned from abroad, was also caught at the airport on July 27 on charges of "laundering the value of assets derived from crime," and the other suspects, HA, KA and B.Ç., were also detained the following day.
While Zuhal Böcek was arrested among the suspects who were referred to the courthouse, the others were released after being questioned by the prosecutor.
