Apple invests $1 billion to lift iPhone 16 sales ban

The steps taken by Apple for some countries are noteworthy. In Indonesia, there was a dispute regarding the sale of the iPhone 16. This dispute is being resolved with a $1 billion investment.
The Indonesian government had previously decided to ban sales of the iPhone 16 family because it fell short of Apple's $100 million investment commitment.
APPLE INCREASES PRESENCE IN INDONESIAApple also took steps to solve this problem. Apple initially increased the amount of investment, but when the government demanded more, Apple moved AirTag production to Indonesia. In addition, it also faced demands to manufacture iPhone components in the country.
With the agreement, Apple will meet the government's demands by increasing its production and research and development investments in Indonesia.
