Game enthusiasts gathered in Germany

Bringing together more than 1,500 exhibitors and 300,000 visitors from all over the world, the video game fair Gamescom opened its doors in Cologne, Germany.

As every year, the event featured new game announcements, trailers, and special screenings.

Release dates for anticipated games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Lego Batman, and Silent Hill F have been shared. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was the highlight of the event.

At the fair, where dozens of different game trailers from independent studios to major publishers were shown, attendees had the opportunity to try out blockbuster productions and test new hardware.

Nostalgia enthusiasts were also at the fair.

The Gamescom gaming expo will continue until August 24th.
