Technology company Huawei is developing artificial intelligence chip production within the scope of China's technology goals. It was stated that the company has significantly increased the amount of advanced artificial intelligence chips it can produce within this framework. According to the news in the Financial Times, Huawei has increased the amount of artificial intelligence chips produced to almost 40 percent. Thus, the technology company has doubled the amount of artificial intelligence chips compared to last year. It was stated that this move is an important step for Huawei, which launched the Ascend 910C processors, which offer better performance than the 910B. It was also noted that the production line for Ascen chips became profitable for the first time with the increased efficiency. It was reported that the company aims to increase the efficiency to 60 percent for similar chips. On the other hand, despite the pressure from the US, Huawei's move was interpreted as an important step for China's plan to establish an infrastructure for artificial intelligence. The Beijing administration had advised Chinese technology companies to purchase Huawei's artificial intelligence chips and called for them to stay away from Nvidia.
