International CEIV-Pharma Certificate to Condor

German airline Condor has earned the international CEIV-Pharma certificate for cargo transportation as of the new year. According to the statement made by the company on Monday, February 24, 2025, Condor, which meets the independent audit standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is now officially authorized to transport medicines and pharmaceutical products.
Safe and Efficient Transport
The CEIV-Pharma certificate documents that Condor manages critical processes such as safety, protection, compliance and efficiency in the field of pharmaceutical logistics in accordance with international standards. Condor Cargo Director Thilo Schäfer stated that pharmaceutical transportation requires precision and said, “This certificate shows that we have successfully met the stringent requirements such as cold chain protection, speed and reliability.”
First Lines from Frankfurt to North America
CEIV-Pharma certified transportation is currently available on flights from Frankfurt (FRA) to Toronto (YYZ), New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA). Condor Ground Operations Director Dimitri Mougoyannis announced that this service will be expanded from Frankfurt to other destinations in the coming period.
