Lively night in Moscow skies: Russian air defenses shot down 9 UAVs

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to escalate with drone attacks. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced that a total of nine Ukrainian drones approaching the capital were neutralized by Russian air defense systems.
In his first statement, Sobyanin stated that seven UAVs were destroyed, and shortly thereafter, two more UAVs approaching the capital were shot down.
Moscow Mayor reported that there was no loss of life or damage in the attacks and that emergency teams continued security checks in the area.
While Moscow and its surrounding areas have recently become the target of drone attacks originating from Ukraine, it is known that Russia has intensified its air defense systems around the capital.
