Mars simulation with 3D printer

NASA continues its Mars simulation efforts at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Having completed its 45-day "most realistic Mars simulation" project last year with four volunteer scientists, NASA is developing new projects. In October, a team of four will live in a 1,700-square-meter habitat for a year, isolated from their immediate family. The team will practice daily routines and exercise. NASA's goal for the 2030s is to conduct a human mission to Mars.
