Nintendo issues warning for extreme heat

Tech devices shouldn't be used in very hot or very cold weather. With this in mind, Nintendo has issued a new statement warning against using consoles in extremely hot weather.

This warning to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 users states that they should not use their devices at temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit). These devices may malfunction or shut down in these temperatures.

The recommended temperature range for use of the consoles is 5 to 35 degrees Celsius.

Since July, overheating issues have been reported on consoles, especially in high-performance games like Cyberpunk 2077.
