Russia's Main Air Base Targeted: Borisoglebsk Airport Hit

Ukrainian Special Forces announced that an attack was carried out on the strategically important Borisoglebsk military airfield in the Voronezh region of Russia. The statement shared that an ammunition depot and a training aircraft at the air base were hit. According to the statement, it is thought that other aircraft may have been damaged in the attack. The base in question is known as the main base for Russia's Su-34, Su-35S and Su-30SM fighter jets.

On the other hand, Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev stated on social media that more than 25 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down in the airspace during the night. Gusev stated that the attack caused temporary damage to a power line in the region, but did not provide detailed information about the military base.
