Strategic Cooperation between TUSAŞ and MİRAS

IDEF 2025 is being held at the Istanbul Fair Center (IFM), hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industries, under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV), and organized by KFA Fair Organization Inc.

According to the written statement made by TUSAŞ, a cooperation protocol was signed between TUSAŞ and MİRAS within the scope of the fair.

The protocol aims to further advance the defense industry capabilities of the two countries through joint projects.

Under the signed cooperation protocol, TAI and MIRAS decided to take joint steps to modernize Russian aircraft and helicopters. In addition to the modernization process, they also agreed to cover maintenance and repair costs. The two companies also agreed to jointly conduct international marketing activities.

The protocol covers the modernization, maintenance and repair activities of air platforms of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as third countries, to be carried out by TUSAŞ and MİRAS.

This strategic protocol aims to expand the defense industry capabilities of both Türkiye and Azerbaijan to wider geographies and further strengthen the brotherly ties between the two countries through technological collaborations.
