Aviation rating agency AirlineRatings.com has announced its highly anticipated "World's Best Airlines" 2025 awards. Korean Air has taken the top spot with its emphasis on passenger satisfaction, generous refreshments and top-tier economy class service, dethroning 2024 champion Qatar Airways. Turkish Airlines (THY) has made our country proud by ranking in the top 10 on the list.

Korean Air Unrivaled in Comfort and Service

According to AirlineRatings.com, Korean Air stands out from its competitors with the spacious seating area it offers its passengers. While many airlines narrow the seat pitch in economy class, Korean Air has managed to prioritize comfort by maintaining a 33-34 inch seat pitch. AirlineRatings.com CEO Sharon Petersen praised Korean Air’s approach, emphasizing the importance given to passenger comfort. In addition, the South Korean airline’s richness of refreshments and the care it shows for economy class passengers were also effective in its rise to the top.

In the regional category of AirlineRatings.com's evaluation, Virgin Australia Regional stood out with its customer-focused approach, while Vietjet was chosen first among low-cost airlines with its affordable prices and quality service approach.
