The hidden danger in Google Maps has been revealed! Every home could be in danger!

Visibility in digital environments has also begun to endanger home security. Google Maps’ Street View feature in particular has become a virtual reconnaissance tool for thieves.

"Burglars are no longer just looking at the streets, they're looking at screens. The way your home looks on the street is the way it looks online, and that can be a serious vulnerability," Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside Police Department in Southern California warned.

According to experts, Google Street View's façade images, entry points, garage doors, and even security camera placements can be a guide for malicious people. Therefore, Google's "blur" feature provides homeowners with additional digital protection.

Blurring the house image from Google Maps is a very simple process. To do this;

- Log in to Google Maps from your computer or mobile device.

- Search for your home address and switch to Street View mode.

- Click on the “Report a Problem” option in the bottom right corner.

- In the form that opens, mark the area you want to blur and write a short description.

- Send the form with your email address.

The process takes place after the application is reviewed by Google. However, there is an important point to remember: Once the image is blurred, it cannot be undone.
