But this time, the tech world got excited without waiting for the announcement. Photos shared on social media platform X under the username "Fox Puppy" showed a device allegedly belonging to the iPhone 17 Pro on the street.

THERE WAS A SECURITY GUARD WITH HIM

The photos show an iPhone model with the Apple logo covered. Despite the device being enclosed in a thick black case, the rear camera setup is clearly visible.

According to the user who posted the video, a "security guard" was present during the shooting and tried to prevent the device from being captured. This detail strengthens the possibility that the device could be a real test prototype.

The camera placement seen in the photos closely matches mockups leaked in recent weeks. The enlarged camera island and the placement of the LiDAR sensor, in particular, attracted attention, and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's comment, "This looks real," fueled the debate.
