Russia fined Zoom again this time

The case against Zoom was heard in Moscow. The court ruled that the platform had failed to comply with its legal obligations in Russia and ordered Zoom to pay a fine of 79.6 million rubles.

Zoom has previously been fined several times in the country for not localizing user data.

Along with Zoom, many Western internet companies such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are also fined from time to time for violating various laws in Russia.
